Attendance Log Import

We frequently receive this technical question from our customers.

“How do I download attendance log from my biometric clock?”

There are three ways downloading the logs from the device.

Automatic Download

UBD Service Schedule is designed to allow PayPunch software to communicate with different types of biometric devices, as well as automatically schedule data transfers to the PayPunch database.

Manual Download

Open PayPunch and click on Employees Tab on the top ribbon. Click on “Download Attendance Logs”. The logs should now be downloaded to the PayPunch.

Manual USB Transfer

Biometric Fingerprint Readers have USB slot for USB Flash Drives. You can easily download attendance logs to a flash drive and transfer data to PayPunch at your convenience. To upload data from a USB Flash Drive to PayPunch, please open the USB Attendance Log Import.
